To the Saints of God at New Rehoboth Bethel Church, and the Household of Faith,
We greet you in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, who is our Lord and Savior and soon coming King. I find it necessary to write you a word of encouragement concerning this unprecedented situation that has come upon the entire world. We, as human beings, are confronted with this plague called coronavirus or COVID-19, which is changing our way of living, even infiltrating our way of thinking. Nevertheless, let us not be overwhelmed by what we are seeing and hearing. Still, we, as people of God, have a great consolation that our God will take care of us no matter what because He promised us in His word. No matter what comes our way, He promised that He would not only supply all our needs, but He will be our Refuge and Strength. He is a very present help!
We believe that our God has us covered under His blood. In eternity past, God already implemented His protective covering before the foundation of the world. Before there was a law, God made a promise to Abraham and sealed that promise with the blood of innocent animals. God guaranteed that He's able to do it, and all we have to do is believe in Him. God promised to honor His Word through the blood covenant.
Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, let us not be weary in well-doing, for we have God's word that He will protect us, deliver us, and save us from the pestilence. Psalms 91:4-6 is our reminder for it says:
He will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the calamity that destroys at noon.
I want to recommend a book that I have in my study library. I found this book on my bookshelf, not knowing it even existed and before the coronavirus. It's called "God's Got You Covered" by Edward Udeh. I highly recommend that you'll take the time to order this book and read it. It will encourage your soul.
Now may the Lord bless thee and keep thee. May the Lord make His face shine upon thee, be gracious unto thee, and give thee peace in Jesus's name. Amen.
